The UWC is excited to announce that Lauren McAuliffe has joined the UWC staff as a Program Coordinator I.

McAuliffe holds a B.A. and M.A. in English from Sam Houston State University, where she also worked as a tutor. She intially worked for the UWC’s full-time staff from 2012 to 2015 as Writing Consultant III and oversaw our West campus location while serving as a writing consultant team leader.

McAuliffe most recently worked as an Executive Assistant II for the Texas A&M Department of Philosophy for seven years. 

In her new role as Program Coordinator I, Lauren will now support our graduate programs including our graduate writing retreats, conduct consultations, and give classroom workshops.
