PHLT 310 is a one-credit course in which students write a position paper, a policy brief, and an article addressed to the public. For each assignment, students submit a draft that receives written feedback from the instructor and is peer reviewed. Rubrics are used to clarify expectations, and students work in groups to present writing advice through engaging activities. Instruction includes APA style, and the APA Publication Manual is a required text.
