Tiffany grew up south of Houston before moving to College Station to study English at Texas A&M University, where she worked as an undergraduate tutor at the UWC. She graduated in 2018 with a B.A. in English and a minor in Film Studies. After leaving for a short time to work as a page designer and copy editor at the Bryan-College Station Eagle, Tiffany returned to work at the UWC full-time.
As an administrator, Tiffany runs the UWC’s classroom workshop program, oversees the UWC’s West Campus satellite location, co-teaches tutor certification classes, and consults undergraduate and graduate students.
Favorite writing strategy: Reading your writing out loud, or having a screen reader read your writing to you, is a great way to diversify your revision process by listening for errors in flow and grammar. It’s amazing how many errors you don’t catch until you hear your composition out loud!
