Discussion List for W Course Instructors
The UWC has created an email discussion list on the topic of writing instruction. The list is voluntary, and any faculty teaching writing may join. Share your rubrics, assignments, and methods for teaching writing, or pose questions to your colleagues, simply by checking your email. To join, contact Director Valerie Balester at v-balester@tamu.edu.
Stand and Deliver: A Blog for Faculty
Stand and Deliver is a blog about teaching writing at Texas A&M University. It features contributions from Writing Center staff as well as W and C course instructors. Send contributions to uwc@tamu.edu.
Writing Matters
The Writing Matters newsletter for faculty is published in the fall and spring semesters.
Write Away
Write Away is the faculty podcast of the Texas A&M University Writing Center and supports the UWC’s mission by providing a resource to help enhance literacy and written communications skills at Texas A&M University.
Most episodes feature a brief interview, usually with a W course instructor or visiting scholar who addresses common concerns in teaching writing, from responding to student error to using technology in a writing-intensive course. Episodes last from six to ten minutes.
