UWC adds workshops
The UWC has recently expanded its list of classroom workshops available for both W and graduate courses. The new workshops focus on specific writing topics and are designed to be interactive and engaging.
W course instructors can choose from three new offerings:
- Editing: How to Catch Those Little Mistakes
that Make a Big Difference - Grammar Jeopardy
- Peer Response
There are also several workshops available for both W and graduate courses. They include:
- Research Poster Production
- Effective Presentation Slides
- Writing Abstracts
A ten-minute presentation giving a general overview of UWC services is available to all instructors. Instructors can also go to the UWC Web site and download any of the PowerPoint presentations used in the classroom workshops.
