Spring issue of faculty newsletter published
Writing Matters, Spring 2008 issue

The Spring 2008 issue of the University Writing Center faculty newsletter is available in print and online.

This issue profiles the winner of the 2007 W Course Teaching Award. Writing Center consultants offer their perspectives on helping students with writing and suggest ways to help students get more from the Writng Center. Also in this issue: 200-level W courses, the proposed C (communication-focused) course, and a new WebCT course, The Write Place for Faculty, for W course instructors.

Printed copies of the newsletter are being distributed to all faculty via campus mail. The newsletter also is available in PDF form. Faculty who do not receive their copy may contact Margarette Goss at 458-1455 or uwc@tamu.edu.
