UWC to host creative writing workshops
Everyone has a story. Finding the Story Within is a series of five workshops designed to develop and hone creative writing skills and bring that story out. Each workshop will include hands-on exercises, discussion, and readings (for those who wish to share their work). Authors will develop pieces in fiction, creative non-fiction, or poetry, or use skills learned in class to sharpen existing pieces. Please bring to class:
  • pens, pencils, paper (we will be writing in class)
  • samples of writing projects in progress (if you feel like sharing)

Workshops will meet Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the University Writing Center.
