Guiding the Facebook Generation: A Focus on Undergraduate Research
On January 10 we will offer lunch and a workshop on helping students use electronic resources to optimize their research. Paul Taylor, of the Daedalus Group and co-author of the Bedford bibliography, will demonstrate a simple online tool for creating references. Susan Goodwin, of Instructional Services, University Libraries, will demonstrate social bookmarking sites and other useful tools for optimizing undergraduate student research. The workshop is scheduled for 9 am to 1 pm and will include lunch and time to practice and share ideas with colleagues from various disciplines.
