American Anthropological Association
- http://www.aaanet.org/publications/guidelines.cfm. This style is a based on the 15th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style.
American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
- http://www.aiaa.org/documents/publications/journalstemp.dot- The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, offers a complete template for Aeronautical Engineering students and faculty; it is very straightforward, and it allows you to simply cut and past your information into the template.

American Medical Association (AMA)
- http://www.liu.edu/cwis/cwp/library/workshop/citama.htm demonstrates the format for bibliographic references in AMA (American Medical Association) style. A guide for in-text citations, however, is not provided.
- http://libguides.hsl.washington.edu/ama provides at-a-glance help with sample bibliographic references of a certain type. For example, if one wanted to know how to cite an article from a website, an example is provided.

APA (American Psychological Association)

- http://www.docstyles.com/apacrib.htm – “APA Style Crib Sheet” is the title of this site; it summarizes APA rules and was recently updated to reflect the 2009 edition.
- http://writing.wisc.edu/Handbook/DocAPA.html – From the University of Wisconsin-Madison, this site is well-organized, easy to navigate, and very informative.
- http://www.bedfordstmartins.com/online/cite6.html – Produced by a prominent textbook publisher, this site explains how to cite and document electronic sources in APA style.
- http://www.apastyle.org/learn/index.aspx - A tutorial on how to use APA style at the official site of the style guide, with a free course on the 6th edition of APA.
